    I'm a geologist that also drives a lot of Southern California freeway miles, so I wanted a vehicle with good mpg and also softroading capability for field work.     Does your RAV4 Prime skid plate fit a 2022 RAV4 Prime XSE? Also does the skid plate obstruct any regular maintenance work like oil changes? Thank you

    Yes, this skid plate fits the 2022 RAV4 Prime XSE. It’s designed and tested for RAV4 Plug-In (Prime) models with the 2.5L engine.
    Regarding maintenance no removal is required for routine service, including oil changes and regular periodic maintenance.

    With the jack point covered with the plate. Is it safe to jack from there still?

    Awesome question! 😊 So, yeah, our skid plate does cover that front jack point, meaning you can't use it for lifting after install, unfortunately.

    and not cat theft protection, although these skid plates still can make it harder for thieves to steal them.

    1. If yours is Plug-in then yes, otherwise if not a plug-in model, this is the right one for you:

    2.Yes the OEM plastic guard needs to be removed. If you'll but the other plate for the non plug-in models, it has a detailed installation instructions:
