The Toyota RAV4 / Highlander Engine & Transmission Skid Plate is built from high-quality, laser-cut 1/4" (6 mm) aluminum, delivering superior protection with minimal added weight. Tested on RAV4 (2.0L / 2.5L gas and hybrid, 4x2 / 4x4) and Highlander (2.5L gas and hybrid, 4x4), this plate is designed to shield both the engine and transmission while maintaining ground clearance. This skid plate was designed and tested for Toyota Highlander models, including the 2.5L hybrid versions.

The 2026 Grand Highlander Hybrid MAX is a different vehicle platform, and we have not tested this skid plate on that application.

This skid plate was tested on Highlander models with the 2.5L engine in petrol and hybrid 4x4 configurations. That said, the 2021 Highlander XLE Hybrid isn’t specifically listed or tested, so we can’t confirm fitment for that exact model.

Will it fit in a europeanm 2.0 Rav4 2020 model AWD with automatic CVT?

This skid plate is tested and confirmed for the 2.0L and 2.5L RAV4 petrol and hybrid models, in both 4x2 and 4x4 layouts. The European 2.0 AWD CVT version wasn’t specifically tested, so we can’t officially confirm fitment, but the mounting points are typically the same across global RAV4 platforms.

Fits on 2025 XSE trim, RAV4?

ASFIR makes a great product. I have installed their products on both my Gladiator and our Willys. The 2026 fitment was great, but an absolute pain in the butt to line up the nut in the frame. That took the most time. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for that design idea.

The installer could not find enough washers (grommets), maybe the packers made an error. I could use FOUR additional washers...these are meant to allow better sliding over rocks. PLEASE SEND.
