The product is well built

The product is well built, but definitely needs to come with instructions and or video on installation

Thank you for the honest feedback, Scott. We’re glad to hear you’re happy with the build quality. We also appreciate the note about the installation instructions that’s something we’re actively working to improve with clearer guides and videos to make the install process easier for everyone.

Thick aluminum!! Fits perfect

Thick aluminum!! Fits perfect. Instructions are there but could be cleared up. But for the price it isn’t a huge deal. Just know to instal them from the gas tank skid forward if your doing them all. No bolt protection so I ordered Barnes bolt head protectors. All in all it’s a good deal.

Thanks for the detailed review, Eric! We’re happy to hear you were pleased with the fit and material quality. We also appreciate the feedback regarding the instructions, and we’ll continue improving them to make the installation process clearer. Thanks as well for sharing the install tip and bolt protector recommendation, we’re sure other Jeep owners will find that helpful!

2016 JK 4 door - No real instructions, Really?

I have a 2016 JK 4 door. I bought the complete 3 piece kit. I was very surprised that there a literly no installation instructions or installation videos. I attempted to do it myself, gave up and went to one of your recommended installers in Phoenix, Desert Rat. They spent two hours trying, with multiple calls into your office to get technical support. Call was not returned during the two hours. I finally had to leave and reschedule after you provided more info. On my return trip they received info from you and made the install. It should not be that hard. There were millions of JK's made, seems you could do and installation video and comprehensive installation instructions. thanks

Hi Christopher,
Thank you for your honest feedback. We are sorry for the frustration you experienced with the installation process and the delay in support. Your comments are very important to us, and we will pass them on to our team to improve the instructions and provide better guidance in the future. We appreciate your patience and hope you enjoy the added protection on your JK.

Buying Asfir 4X4 Skids online

As mentioned, I've purchased three skid plates from Asfir. The buying process is pretty simple. If you are a Veteran, take advantage of the discount. Skids arrive well packed and with all the hardware for each purchase. I even reused one box to sell one of the skids. Shipping time is acceptable.

Thanks, Marc! We really appreciate your continued support and your three purchases. Great to hear the ordering process, packaging, and shipping have all been a good experience. Thanks for spreading the word about our veteran discount, too!

Fit my Outer Banks with flat tow base plates

Was able to fit the skid plate on my Outer Banks with flat tow hookups with a little reverse engineering. They gave me the ability to be able to return if it didn’t fit, which luckily it did!
