    Tuff as hell!

    Really easy install
    I had some issues with broken bolts but that was due to my fj age and some rust on the bolts..
    But the plates look awesome and sturdy I'm going tomorrow off roadi g and testing g the plates for the first time

    Great product! Easy installation.

    I liked the reviews on the Under Armor from ASFIR. I debated about the overseas product. I went the the Overland Expo in Flagstaff AZ in May and really liked the product, and the knowledgable salesmen. I also was able to get a Expo discount, so ordered them.

    Installation was uneventful. I just laid out the pieces and put them on after installing a new suspension, while my FJ was still up on blocks. The parts and parts diagram were all easy to follow and install. They had several videos, but my FJ had a couple that were slightly different, so the video didn't help. Perhaps a few photos as part of the packet. My son helped me, and he has steel under armor. He couldn't believe how much lighter this was.

    Our skid plates are fit-tested only on OEM vehicles with no diff drops, or KDSS unless it is otherwise mentioned
    Therefore we cannot guarantee a perfect fit on vehicles with diff drops, or KDSS, however, we know from our customers, you can fit these skid plates by adding some extra spacers where needed.

    Bought this for my US Version 4Runner with a V6 and it fit perfectly.

    They did reach out to me personally to let me know that they had not test fit on my vehicle before but I figured the frame set up is identical to GX470 and decided to try it out anyway.

    Went for it and fitment is perfect, looks great too.

    Shipping was amazing. Product is also amazing. Price was amazing. Only issue is it does not have a tight fit because I have a differential drop kit. Wish that was clearly stated on the product page but it still works pretty well as is. Some extra washers, spacers and longer bolts got it on my GX just fine. I recommend the product to anyone else looking

    Fitment is Awesome but

    The installation and fitment went Awesome, everything bolted up perfectly. The only issue I had was when I actually used the skid plate offroading it bent to my exhaust and gas tank. Now it rattles at idle. I know it's aluminum and really is not meant to hold weight but it is lighter than steel and it looks better than the stock ones.

    Our skid-plates are fabricated out of aluminum as we believe it allows to get maximum protection for minimum weight added.
    As Rock-Crawling needs are very different from Overlanding needs, of course, every user should consider his needs and priorities.
    Aluminum could be great for rock crawlers, but it depends on driving habits.
    Another great benefit for the aluminum is that it bends as part of the protection so it doesn't transmit the shock to the chassis,
    and in addition to that, it can be aligned back very easily so you can continue the usage.

    Toyota prado 120 - Front skid plates

    The front skid plates arrived in perfect condition. It was a bit of a struggle to fit them onto the vehicle because the previous owner of the vehicle had welded on a bolt stud at the front left mounting point. But we managed to overcome this. The car is now looking awesome. Looking forward to ordering a set of transmission guards soon.

    Nice, lightweight skid!

    Just a few fitment issues with the Lexus GX470 but overall a very nice peice. If you are comfortable with doing a little cutting/polishing and adding some spacers then this is the one for you.

    Yes, it fits the 2007 Prado 120 as long as your vehicle does not have KDSS or a differential drop setup.

    Will the front skid plate replace the stock plate while keeping the stock rear plate in place? 2005 4 runner v8

    Hi Craig,

    Yes, the front skid plate (Non-KDSS version) will replace the stock front plate while allowing you to keep your stock rear (or middle) plate in place. It bolts into the original mounting points, so you won’t need to remove anything from the back. Just make sure your 2005 4Runner is non-KDSS and has no diff drop.
