    Full Underbody Armor

    We have had them installed for about a month and so far we love them! I do wish there was a port on the engine skid to access the oil filter.

    We understand your concern about having a port on the engine skid to access the oil filter. We have carefully considered this option, but we have decided not to include a port on our skid plates.

    The main reason for this is that we want to ensure the durability of our skid plates. A port in the skid plate would weaken the structure and make it more susceptible to damage.

    We understand that this may be an inconvenience for some customers, but our skid plates are designed to be easy to remove and install, so you can still access the oil filter without too much trouble.

    Almost good

    The skids are well made. However, the brackets at the rear of the transmission skid are a giant pain to use and the provided hardware is not long enough. The install instructions were incredibly vague and questions weren’t answered.

    In which places exactly was the hardware too short?
    How did you sent these question that didn't got answered? We don't miss out on any questions unless they did not arrived to our inbox.
    We do work on installation videos for all of our products, so it may take a while to complete for every item we have on store, but as mentioned, our support is available for any questions and can walkthrough with the installation process if needed.

    Will this fit a limited

    ASFIR 4x4 USA

    Hi Roger, thanks for your question.

    This skid plate fits 4Runner models without KDSS. Since many Limited models come equipped with KDSS, fitment really depends on your specific setup.

    If your vehicle is Non-KDSS, it will fit. If you’re not sure, feel free to check and let me know

    - Does this model (534155) fit a 2023 4Runner Limited? Some internet sources indicate it does not fit the Limited model.

    - Does it include the Toyota 4Runner Bumper Filler Plate item 558156 already attached or must I purchase and install the filler plate separately on my Limited model?

    - Does it allow adequate access to the oil filter so I may remove and change the filter through a skid plate opening?
    -- Some internet comments indicate the skid plate must be removed to change the oil filter.
    -- ASFIR 4x4 responded to the internet comment saying that is why you make the skid plate easy to remove

    - Can I drain engine oil through a skid plate opening or must the skid plate be removed?

    I found conflicting internet information on these questions and wanted to contact you direct for the correct answer.

    Here are the answers to your questions regarding part number 534155:
    • Fitment: Yes, the 534155 skid plate does fit the 2023 4Runner Limited.
    • Bumper Filler Plate (558156): This filler plate is not included with 534155, and it is also not compatible with this skid plate. It is only designed to work with skid plate model 534157.
    • Oil filter access: The skid plate includes service openings that allow access to the oil filter for regular maintenance.
    • Oil drain access: You can drain the engine oil through the designated opening no need to remove the skid plate for standard oil changes.
