subaru outback

Fit and finish was great, super excited to hit the Ozarks and test out my new skids, knowing I'll be protecting the vitals of my outback gives me piece of mind when on the trails!

Hello Ryno! We're so glad to hear that you're happy with your new skids for your Subaru Outback. Can't wait to hear all about your adventures in the Ozarks!

Great fit and finish

Great fit and finish and easy to install!

Thanks, Norman!
Happy to hear everything fit well and the install went smoothly

Great skid plates, but hardware packaging needs closer scrutinization.

I purchased the differential skid for a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek along with the transmission and engine skid plates. All would have had 5 star reviews from me except that the engine skid shipped with a couple of bolts that were wrong (12 mm instead of 10 mm which was properly called out on the contents sheet). This differential skid also came with a piece of hardware that was incorrect. One of the four nylock nuts used for installation had the wrong thread size and required a trip to the hardware store for the proper nut along with purchasing a couple of proper bolts for the engine skid plate.

Thanks for pointing that out - we’ll make sure to improve our packaging checks!

Crosstrek rear differential plate

Fantastic quality. A little bit of maneuvering in order to get it to fit on the manual transmission, but once we got it on it fits like a glove!

Thank you for the feedback!

Does this fit the Subaru Outback Wilderness??

ASFIR 4x4 USA

Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for your interest in our products.

At this time, we don't offer a skid plate kit for the Subaru Outback Wilderness, so we can't confirm compatibility.

Feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions.

595156, 595161, 595059, do these skid plates fit the 2023 Subaru Outback Wilderness? It has different mounting bolts.

ASFIR 4x4 USA

Thanks for reaching out.

These skid plates were designed and tested on Subaru Outback models from 2020 to 2024. They have not been tested on the Outback Wilderness, so we can’t confirm fitment for that model.

Does this also fit the Outback Wilderness?

ASFIR 4x4 USA

Thanks for the question, Brian.
At the moment, this 3-piece skid plate kit is confirmed only for the standard 2020–2024 Subaru Outback. The Wilderness edition has a few underbody differences from the regular Outback, and we don’t have verified information that the mounting points are identical, so we can’t confirm fitment for the Wilderness.

If Subaru releases official mounting data or if we test this kit on a Wilderness model, we’ll update the product page right away. Until then, we prefer to be accurate and not promise a fit we can’t verify.

Will this set fit a 2024 outback wilderness

ויקטור בדיקה

Not tested yet so we cannot guarantee, but we can send you product BOM drawings if that may help with your decision.

Will this fit the 2.4L turbo models?

ויקטור בדיקה

Not tested on 2.4 turbo models so cannot confirm the fit
