The Subaru Forester XT 2.5L Front Skid Plate is manufactured from precision laser-cut 1/4" (6 mm) aluminum, delivering maximum strength with minimal added weight. Engineered to shield the engine and transmission from off-road hazards while minimizing clearance loss, it is recommended as part of ASFIR’s complete Subaru Forester underbody protection kit.

ASFIR makes a great product. I have installed their products on both my Gladiator and our Willys. The 2026 fitment was great, but an absolute pain in the butt to line up the nut in the frame. That took the most time. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for that design idea.

The installer could not find enough washers (grommets), maybe the packers made an error. I could use FOUR additional washers...these are meant to allow better sliding over rocks. PLEASE SEND.
