The Nissan Pathfinder / Frontier / Xterra Transmission & Transfer Case Skid Plate is crafted from high-quality, laser-cut 1/4" (6 mm) aluminum, delivering outstanding protection with minimal added weight. Tested on Crew Cab, Standard Bed with V6 4.0L engine, this skid plate is engineered to shield both the transmission and transfer case without compromising ground clearance. It’s a highly recommended upgrade as part of ASFIR’s complete underbody protection system for Nissan 4x4s.

Transmission Skid plate 22 Frontier

Fast shipment with very secure packaging (2 weeks from time ordered to receiving from Israel via DHL with tracking). Nice thick aluminum skid plate, with quality heavy steel zinc plated brackets and hardware. Very nice solid corner welding for strength. And for you Frontier Pro-4x owners Nissan covered everything with a skid plate from factory EXCEPT the composite transmission pan (which is why I ordered this).

Very well made skid plates

I will start by saying I haven't installed them yet, my truck as in an accident and I will have it back from repairs later this month. But from seeing these skid plates they are definitely well made and I have no doubt they'll provide the protection I'm looking for.
Shipping was also very quick.
I'd definitely recommend these skid plates.

ASFIR makes a great product. I have installed their products on both my Gladiator and our Willys. The 2026 fitment was great, but an absolute pain in the butt to line up the nut in the frame. That took the most time. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for that design idea.

The installer could not find enough washers (grommets), maybe the packers made an error. I could use FOUR additional washers...these are meant to allow better sliding over rocks. PLEASE SEND.
