The Nissan Frontier Fuel Tank Skid Plate is built from high-quality, laser-cut 1/4" (6 mm) aluminum, offering maximum protection with minimal added weight. Tested on Crew Cab models with a Standard Bed and 4.0L V6 engine, it is designed to shield the fuel tank from off-road hazards while preserving ground clearance. Recommended as part of ASFIR’s complete underbody protection system for the Nissan Frontier.

Skid plate

It is built very well, but I did not see that it was for a left driving vehicle, ad I am in Canada we are right driving vehicles, this the skid plate did not fit right. It needed to be straight, not slightly curved, and some of the brackets did not fit, it took awhile to fix this issue.

ASFIR makes a great product. I have installed their products on both my Gladiator and our Willys. The 2026 fitment was great, but an absolute pain in the butt to line up the nut in the frame. That took the most time. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for that design idea.

The installer could not find enough washers (grommets)

The installer could not find enough washers (grommets), maybe the packers made an error. I could use FOUR additional washers...these are meant to allow better sliding over rocks. PLEASE SEND.
