The Mitsubishi Pajero Hidden Winch Mount is fabricated from 6mm (1/4"") zinc-coated steel, allowing great strength and corrosion resistance.

The winch mount is designed to fit perfectly inside the OEM bumper without affecting its structure.

Easily mounted to the vehicle's chassis utilizing factory mounting points. No drilling required.

Installing a winch on this mount will require cutting an opening through the OEM bumper in order to fit the winch lips in it.

The hidden winch mount allows the full functionality of a recovery winch with minimal added weight to the front of the vehicle.

Engineered to support winches up to 10,000 lbs.

The kit includes all required mounting hardware. Kit does not include winch lips.

This winch mount is very robust and attaches to chassi incredibly well

This winch mount is very robust and attaches to chassi incredibly well. I could mount a 12k lb carbon winch with only minor modifications. Mount plus winch are effectively as robust as a bumper bull bar (so it does offer good protection of the radiator), but it is all buried within the plastic bumper which is really nice. While this is certainly the lightest option, bear in mind that overall weight is still very significant, and you will need stiffer springs (or at least coil spacers) to recover the pre-winch clearance at the front of the car. I found the fitting instructions really poor - make sure you put together the mount as you attach it to the chassi (it will not fit in the car if pre-mounted in one piece). I attach some pictures that may help with the fitting.

ASFIR makes a great product. I have installed their products on both my Gladiator and our Willys. The 2026 fitment was great, but an absolute pain in the butt to line up the nut in the frame. That took the most time. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for that design idea.

The installer could not find enough washers (grommets), maybe the packers made an error. I could use FOUR additional washers...these are meant to allow better sliding over rocks. PLEASE SEND.
