The Land Rover Defender 110 / Defender 90 Front Skid Plate, designed for 2.0L and 3.0L diesel engines, is manufactured from precision laser-cut 1/4" (6 mm) aluminum for strong yet lightweight protection. Engineered to protect the engine and transmission against off-road impacts while maintaining clearance, it is recommended as part of ASFIR’s complete Defender underbody protection kit.

The gearbox skid plate you see on the images is actually not Asfir's, and it seems like an OEM skid plate

Hi. I have a gasoline (petrol) new defender 2023. Why this skid plate is for diesel only ? What is the incompatibility ? Thanks.

We've tested this skid plate on diesel vehicle so far, that's why we cannot confirm it for other models yet, although we pretty sure it has same mounting points.

Fit my Outer Banks with flat tow base plates

Was able to fit the skid plate on my Outer Banks with flat tow hookups with a little reverse engineering. They gave me the ability to be able to return if it didn’t fit, which luckily it did!

The installer could not find enough washers (grommets), maybe the packers made an error. I could use FOUR additional washers...these are meant to allow better sliding over rocks. PLEASE SEND.
