The Kia Sorento / Hyundai Santa Fe Front Skid Plate is built from high-quality laser-cut 1/4" (6 mm) aluminum, providing the perfect balance between strength and weight. Designed and tested for 4x4 and 4x2 Santa Fe and Sorento models with 2.0L–2.4L engines, this plate offers dependable protection for vulnerable underbody components against rocks, dirt, and debris. It fits seamlessly with the vehicle’s structure, minimizing clearance loss while maintaining superior durability. Decent choice

Got the skid plate for my 2013 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T. The fitment was great, the instructions were easy to understand. Relatively easy install, totally doable by a single person. The front rubber stands look a bit flimsy and I still have to put it to some off-road test, but so far so good. I had some issues with the mounting hardware but those were resolved by Asfir folks shipping me another set of hardware at no cost.

The Kia Sorento fitment for this skid plate was designed and tested only on 2013–2014 Sorento models.

Because the 2018 Sorento EX was not tested, we cannot confirm that it uses the same mounting points or bolt pattern.

Fit my Outer Banks with flat tow base plates

Was able to fit the skid plate on my Outer Banks with flat tow hookups with a little reverse engineering. They gave me the ability to be able to return if it didn’t fit, which luckily it did!
