This 5-piece skid plate kit provides full underbody protection for Jeep Wrangler JL SWB Rubicon models with the 2.0L gasoline engine. Manufactured from precision laser-cut 1/4" (6 mm) aluminum, it delivers rugged durability with minimal weight. For the most part, I love this product except for differential plates

If I had to do it over, I would not buy the cap. I did not wind up using the differential skid plate covers. I bought another product. I use those. However, the rest of the kit was spectacular fit great easy to install. Looks great on my jeep.

Nice skid plates. Easily installed. Directions could be much better but easy to figure out on your own. I had to visit my local auto parts store as one of the clipped nuts was the wrong size for the bolt.

Our skid plates were designed and tested with the factory oil and transmission components. We haven't tested them with the deeper AFE oil and transmission covers, so unfortunately we can't confirm that there will be enough clearance with those installed.

Will this kit fit the JL Sport S?

This kit was designed for the Rubicon and includes front and rear Dana 44 differential skid plates. If your Sport S does not have Dana 44 differentials, those two skid plates will not be compatible.

Please check which front and rear differentials your Sport S has, and let us know the model year as well.

Fit my Outer Banks with flat tow base plates

Was able to fit the skid plate on my Outer Banks with flat tow hookups with a little reverse engineering. They gave me the ability to be able to return if it didn’t fit, which luckily it did!
