The Jeep Wrangler JL LWB Rear Battery Skid Plate is built from high-quality, laser-cut 4 mm aluminum, offering reliable protection with minimal added weight.
Designed for e-Torque models with 3.6L or 2.0L petrol engines, this plate protects the rear battery without compromising ground clearance and is recommended as part of ASFIR’s full underbody protection system.

Best e-torque skid available

Shipping was very fast, the skid plate came well protected in the shipping packaging, and the installation was super easy. The skid plate is very stiff but also very lightweight. Worth the money for the added protection on the e-torque battery.

Great plate, it provides necessary protection and very easy to install. The instructions have a link to a video on how to install. The video could be a bit more detail but it is not complicated to follow.

What’s the difference between this LWB Rear e-Torque Battery skid versus the SWB Rear e-torque Battery skid? I have a 2021 JLUR 3.6L e-torque with 8 speed auto transmission.

Fit my Outer Banks with flat tow base plates

Was able to fit the skid plate on my Outer Banks with flat tow hookups with a little reverse engineering. They gave me the ability to be able to return if it didn’t fit, which luckily it did!
