    Great Skid Plate.

    The skid plate is fantastic. Installed it two weeks ago and it has already taken a few hits with no problem or real damage. The instructions are seriously lacking though; essentially just a technical drawing. Thankfully someone was kind enough to document their experience and post it on a forum.

    Jeep Wrangler 2022 oil/trans pan skid

    Quality appears to be good, speed which the order arrived very good, with 4-5 days. Could use better installation guide. Passanger side front mounting bolt is difficult but with patience very doable. Durability will likely be determined by my next trip over the Rubicon at the end of the month. In addition to this skid I also installed the fuel filter/transfer skid.

    Great Value and Excellent Fit.

    I have a JT Rubicon with the EcoDiesel. I bought the engine/transmission skid plate and the fuel filter/transfer case skid plate. These should have come standard on the Rubicon. Fit was great and the included hardware made installation easy.

    Glad I bought this

    The wranglers have NO protection from the factory for then engine. This solves that problem. Since I own the Rubicon Diesel, I did not need the other skid plates offered by ASFIR as the Rubicon already has those (DEF, Fuel Filter, gas tank, etc...) All you need is this one and maybe the Dana 44 axle ones.

    NOTE that the instructions are not great. It's not hard to figure out, but you will need to reach behind the passenger side wheel well to install one of the bolts (add a tiny bit of grease to the threads of the old bolt before trying to extract - it will make it much easier. Also a deep well socket gave me the right amount of extension). Also the 4 bolts that connect the legs to the skid plate at the front should be left loose until all the other bolts are tightened first, otherwise you will have trouble aligning the holes at the rear of the skid plate. I was able to do the install by myself without raising my jeep. Took about two hours because of some trial and error, especially with selecting the right wrenches and techniques.

    Quick turnaround.

    Fast shipping on everything I ordered. Great fit. Just takes a lot of time to install. Be prepared to remove your inner fender covers for this one. Makes it a lot easier to get to a couple of the bolts you need to replace. Once installed, it's a great looking skid plate that covers some of the most vulnerable parts on the Gladiator.

    Overall great product, great price point and easy enough to install. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the welds were not great aesthetically. THey were full penetration and it's aluminum so no big deal bit it looked like it was mig welded and not tig welded.

    Is this compatible with all factory Rubicon skid plates already present underneath the vehicle?

    yes. It is a new addition under the engine/transmission and the transfer case/fuel filter plate goes over the existing steel plate under the fuel filter/water separator. Much better protection for fuel filter.

    yes, I have a 2023 Rubicon gladiator 3.0 eco-diesel, this skid plate covers the engine oil pan and transmission pan. It fits with all of the factory skid plates in place.

    How difficult is the installation? Its difficult to see from the pictures where the two long brackets are mounting too

    Very easy "Bolt-on" installation!
    There's just 6 bolts that are attached to chassis.
    The two brackets mount near the hydraulic motor mounts.
    We can send you this image thru email, so the quality would be better and you'll see where it attaches to.

    It’s a bit of a squeeze to get your hands up there, but it’s actually hot bad visual to see what you’re doing directly underneath. Definitely go through the passenger side wheel fender liner to help bolt up that side.
