This 6-piece skid plate kit provides full underbody protection for the Jeep Wrangler JL EcoDiesel, tested exclusively on the 3.0L diesel engine. Note: Exhaust skid plate (547580) fits the rear plastic bumper only.

Beat value out there

All pieces fit perfectly and installation was a breeze. The only caveat would be concerning the fuel filter plate which installed easily, but for future design it would be nice to have an easier removal process. To solve this I fabricated an aluminum plate with nut zerks that sits above the factory protection and the new shield bolts to the plate to allow easier removal and install when changing the fuel filter.

I want the Jeep Wrangler JL EcoDiesel Skid Plate Kit (6 Pcs) for my 2021 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon with the 3.0 ecodiesel w/ oem steel bumper . Can the def cover be modified to fit the steel bumper?

Thanks for your interest! Some customers have managed to install it with the factory steel bumper, but modifications such as drilling or cutting were needed.

We haven't tested this setup ourselves, so we can't say exactly what modifications are required or guarantee fitment.

Fit my Outer Banks with flat tow base plates
