This 6-piece skid plate kit provides full underbody protection for the Jeep Wrangler JL EcoDiesel, tested exclusively on the 3.0L diesel engine. Engineered for precision fit, durability, and maximum coverage, it shields vital components against off-road impacts while ensuring easy bolt-on installation.

Note: Exhaust skid plate (547580) fits the rear plastic bumper only.

Beat value out there

All pieces fit perfectly and installation was a breeze. The only caveat would be concerning the fuel filter plate which installed easily, but for future design it would be nice to have an easier removal process. To solve this I fabricated an aluminum plate with nut zerks that sits above the factory protection and the new shield bolts to the plate to allow easier removal and install when changing the fuel filter.

ASFIR makes a great product. I have installed their products on both my Gladiator and our Willys. The 2026 fitment was great, but an absolute pain in the butt to line up the nut in the frame. That took the most time. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for that design idea.

The installer could not find enough washers (grommets), maybe the packers made an error. I could use FOUR additional washers...these are meant to allow better sliding over rocks. PLEASE SEND.
