    Not for rock crawling

First trip out and I’m replacing with steel. It was buckled. May work for overlanding, did not stand up to rock crawling. Could have just been aluminum vs steel.

Hey Chris, thank you for your feedback! We appreciate it.
Our skid-plates are fabricated out of aluminum as we believe it allows to get maximum protection for minimum weight added.
As Rock-Crawling needs are very different from Overlanding needs, of course, every user should consider his needs and priorities.
Aluminum could be great for rock crawlers, but it depends on driving habits.
Another great benefit for the aluminum is that it bends as part of the protection so it doesn't transmit the shock to the chassis,
and in addition to that, it can be aligned back very easily so you can continue the usage.
We wish to thank you again for your feedback and experience with our skids!
