The Front/Rear Differential Skid Plate - Dana 44 is constructed using high-quality laser-cut 4mm steel, providing the optimal balance between strength and weight.
‌‌Designed specifically to complement the Vehicles' structure, and minimize clearance loss.
‌Constructed with stiffening and reinforcing ribs to provide even greater strength where required.
‌‌Directly bolted onto the vehicle's chassis.
‌Designed with air vents to reduce heat build-up alongside drain holes to allow easy removal of pebbles, dirt, or water that may get caught between the skid and the vehicle while offroading.
‌No cutting or drilling is required. Completely bolt-on.
‌The package includes all needed hardware.

Easy install. The instructions list a torque spec for a smaller bolt than what exists on the Dana 44. So I’m not sure if the spec is correct.
Be sure to not tighten the bolts until all are installed to make sure you have your holes lined up correctly.

During my initial purchase the

During my initial purchase the manufacturer stated that they hadnג€™t seen any of the skid plates installed on 2012 Subaru Foresters with a manual transmission, to date they were only installed on automatics. No modification actions were necessary to the plate or front and rear brackets. I did have to upsize the holes for mounting the center brackets because the centers were half a hole off on both sides. I then used Fender washers in place of the original washers supplied and everything was a perfect fit afterwards. I love this product and recommend it to anyone looking to install a skid plate. Thanks ASFIR!
