The Ford Ranger Raptor Transfer Case Skid Plate is crafted from premium laser-cut 1/4" (6 mm) aluminum, providing outstanding durability with minimal added weight. Specifically engineered to shield the transfer case from rocks, debris, and trail impacts, this plate seamlessly integrates with the Raptor’s chassis for optimal fit and ground clearance.

Fitment Note:

Compatible with both U.S. and European Ranger Raptor models. Please note that U.S.-spec versions do not include the rear cross member shown in product images; the plate fits correctly, but this rear bracket will not be used. This plate replaces the original factory steel skid plate.

My 2024 US ranger raptor does not have the crossmember for transfer case skid plate #599261 mounting bracket. Is it ok to not used the included bracket and hardware?

Yes, it's absolutely fine to install the skid plate without using the included rear bracket and hardware.
As noted on the product page:

U.S.-spec Ranger Raptor models don’t have the rear cross member shown in the photo. The skid plate fits, but this rear bracket won’t be used. This cross-member is only present on European-spec vehicles.

This plate is designed to replace the factory steel skid plate, and it mounts directly using the existing points.

Fit my Outer Banks with flat tow base plates

Was able to fit the skid plate on my Outer Banks with flat tow hookups with a little reverse engineering. They gave me the ability to be able to return if it didn’t fit, which luckily it did!
