I think the craftsmanship is perfect

I think the craftsmanship is perfect. Often the plates begin "snapping" groaning etc when turning at low speeds. I'm going to remove them and see if I can identify signs of rubbing on the control arm. The control arms must move more than I though when turning at a stop or moving slowly on rough pavement. Depending on what I find I may make some sort of polypropylene strips to apply to stop the metal in metal movement

Fit my Outer Banks with flat tow base plates

Was able to fit the skid plate on my Outer Banks with flat tow hookups with a little reverse engineering. They gave me the ability to be able to return if it didn’t fit, which luckily it did!
