The FordF-250/F-350 Steering Rod Skid Plate is constructed using high-quality laser-cut 1/4" aluminum, providing the optimal balance between strength and weight.
Cleverly engineered to provide optimal protection to the steering rod. Recommended using as a part of Asfir's F-250/F-350 full underbody protection kit.
Designed specifically to compliment the F-250/350's structure, and minimize clearance loss.
Built with stiffening and reinforcing ribs to provide even greater strength where needed.
Directly bolted onto the vehicle's chassis and supported by zinc-coated steel brackets to ensure maximum durability.
Designed with air vents to reduce heat build-up alongside drain holes to assure easy removal of pebbles, dirt, or water that may get caught between the skid and the vehicle while offroading.
No cutting or drilling is required. Completely bolt-on.
The package includes all the needed hardware.

DIY install

This was a very simple install and the skid plate is very stable and provide great protection for steering system on my 2020 F 250. My steering system already had modifications with additional stabilizer shocks and this fit without issue.

During my initial purchase the

During my initial purchase the manufacturer stated that they hadnג€™t seen any of the skid plates installed on 2012 Subaru Foresters with a manual transmission, to date they were only installed on automatics. No modification actions were necessary to the plate or front and rear brackets. I did have to upsize the holes for mounting the center brackets because the centers were half a hole off on both sides. I then used Fender washers in place of the original washers supplied and everything was a perfect fit afterwards. I love this product and recommend it to anyone looking to install a skid plate. Thanks ASFIR!
