The Ford F-150 XL / Raptor Fuel Tank Skid Plate is manufactured from precision laser-cut 1/4" (6 mm) aluminum, ensuring excellent strength with minimal added weight. Tested on SuperCrew (Crew Cab) models with a 26-gallon (98 L) fuel tank, it provides reliable protection for the fuel tank while minimizing clearance loss. Recommended as part of ASFIR's complete underbody protection system.

We cannot confirm a perfect fit without drilling or modification as we've tested it only on Double Cab.

I have a 2017 F-150 extended cab (not crew cab) ,145 in.wheel base , 23 gal
fuel tank. The tank hanger straps do not studs to mount the stock skid plate. Will this skid plate fit my truck and do I need to buy different tank straps?

We can't guarantee a perfect fit without any modifications or drillings as we tested it only on a crew cab with a 26 gal fuel tank.

ASFIR makes a great product. I have installed their products on both my Gladiator and our Willys. The 2026 fitment was great, but an absolute pain in the butt to line up the nut in the frame. That took the most time. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for that design idea.

The installer could not find enough washers (grommets)

The installer could not find enough washers (grommets), maybe the packers made an error. I could use FOUR additional washers...these are meant to allow better sliding over rocks. PLEASE SEND.
