The Dacia Duster Exhaust System Skid Plate is constructed from high-quality laser-cut 5/32" (4 mm) stainless steel, offering a perfect strength-to-weight balance. Recommended as part of ASFIR’s complete Dacia Duster underbody protection kit.

Why not in aluminium?

Hey Pierre,

It is made of steel because we wanted the shielding to be relatively thin in order not to damage the clearance as this area is close to the ground, and steel is more suitable for the job despite its thin thickness because of its strength than aluminum.

ASFIR makes a great product. I have installed their products on both my Gladiator and our Willys. The 2026 fitment was great, but an absolute pain in the butt to line up the nut in the frame. That took the most time. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for that design idea.

The installer could not find enough washers (grommets)

The installer could not find enough washers (grommets), maybe the packers made an error. I could use FOUR additional washers...these are meant to allow better sliding over rocks. PLEASE SEND.
