This 3-piece skid plate kit provides complete underbody protection for Chevrolet Silverado 2500 4x4 models. Tested on 6.6L diesel Double Cab with Standard Bed, it delivers strength, fitment accuracy, and easy bolt-on installation for off-road durability.

Can this be modified to work on a 2020 1500? There isn't much for them.

Will this fit a 2020 Chevrolet 3500hd 4x4 single rear wheel long wheel base (8’ bed) 4 door crew cab with a 6.6L duramax? Also, does it protect the DEF tank as well as the fuel tank?

Everything tested on a 4x4 3500 with a 6.6L Diesel engine, Double Cab/Crew Cab with Standard Bed, and 29gal/110L fuel tank capacity, EXCEPT the fuel tank which not tested on the Crew Cab or the 3500 (yet), so we cannot guarantee a perfect fit on this skid plate :)
As you can see by the images on our site, our skid plates not close to protect the DEF tank.

ASFIR makes a great product. I have installed their products on both my Gladiator and our Willys. The 2026 fitment was great, but an absolute pain in the butt to line up the nut in the frame. That took the most time. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for that design idea.

The installer could not find enough washers (grommets), maybe the packers made an error. I could use FOUR additional washers...these are meant to allow better sliding over rocks. PLEASE SEND.
