The Jeep Renegade / Compass Front Skid Plate is manufactured from high-quality laser-cut 1/4" aluminum, providing the optimal balance between strength and weight.
‌Cleverly engineered to provide optimal protection to vulnerable under-vehicle components.
‌‌Designed specifically to compliment the Commander's structure, and minimize clearance loss.
‌Constructed with stiffening and reinforcing ribs to provide even greater strength where needed.
‌‌Directly bolted onto the vehicle's chassis and supported by zinc-coated steel brackets to ensure maximum durability.
‌Designed with ventilation openings to reduce heat build-up alongside drain holes to assure easy removal of pebbles, dirt, or water that may get caught between the skid and the vehicle while offroading.
‌Easy Bolt-On installation with no drilling or cutting required.

Great Skid Plate Option!

Easy installation - all considering, the plate was light weight. Used it on an easy trail and it did a fantastic job. Will need to enlarge oil service port to accommodate the Compass' 2.4L engine. Other than that, awesome product! Hope you could make some skid plates for the center drive shaft and rear differential for this vehicle.

We haven't tested it on the 2.4L yet (as mentioned on the product page), and we'd like some more details about the fitment on model of yours. Except the englarge of the drain hole, did it fit perfectly? Could you provide us some photos and details after you enlarge the drain plug? Why did you had to enlarge it at first place?

During my initial purchase the

During my initial purchase the manufacturer stated that they hadnג€™t seen any of the skid plates installed on 2012 Subaru Foresters with a manual transmission, to date they were only installed on automatics. No modification actions were necessary to the plate or front and rear brackets. I did have to upsize the holes for mounting the center brackets because the centers were half a hole off on both sides. I then used Fender washers in place of the original washers supplied and everything was a perfect fit afterwards. I love this product and recommend it to anyone looking to install a skid plate.
