‌Cleverly engineered to provide optimal protection to the exhaust. Recommended using as a part of Asfir's Jeep Wrangler Jl complete underbody protection kit.
‌‌Designed specifically to complement the Wrangler JL's structure, minimize clearance loss.
‌Built with stiffening and reinforcing ribs to provide even greater strength where needed.

Covers everything except the coolant lines

Skid plates are very nice and light.

They cover everything except the coolant lines on the passenger side (US). The coolant lines are just under the passenger side footwell and are probably not in any real danger except from an errant tree branch that wound get jammed under the jeep.

I will probably get a thin piece of metal to cut / bend into position as it doesn't seem there are any skids available that will cover this spot ... Especially for the price point of asfir.

Install was very easy with battery impact guns and extensions.

Plus, they are aluminum and shiney and I get compliments on them all the time.

During my initial purchase the

During my initial purchase the manufacturer stated that they hadnג€™t seen any of the skid plates installed on 2012 Subaru Foresters with a manual transmission, to date they were only installed on automatics. No modification actions were necessary to the plate or front and rear brackets. I did have to upsize the holes for mounting the center brackets because the centers were half a hole off on both sides. I then used Fender washers in place of the original washers supplied and everything was a perfect fit afterwards. I love this product and recommend it to anyone looking to install a skid plate. Thanks ASFIR!
