The Ford Bronco Gearbox Skid Plate is manufactured from high-quality laser-cut 1/4" aluminum, providing maximum strength with minimum added weight.
‌Cleverly engineered to provide optimal protection to the gearbox & transfer case. Recommended using as a part of Asfir's Ford Bronco complete underbody protection kit.
‌‌Designed specifically to complement the Bronco's structure, and minimize clearance loss.
‌Built with stiffening and reinforcing ribs to provide even greater strength where required.
‌‌Directly bolted onto the vehicle's chassis and supported by zinc-coated steel brackets to ensure maximum durability.

Purchased one for my Badlands 2-door and one for my Black Diamond 2-door. Both are great! Nicely made. Wish the edges were chamfered a bit, but I just filed them a tad.

During my initial purchase the

During my initial purchase the manufacturer stated that they hadnג€™t seen any of the skid plates installed on 2012 Subaru Foresters with a manual transmission, to date they were only installed on automatics. No modification actions were necessary to the plate or front and rear brackets. I did have to upsize the holes for mounting the center brackets because the centers were half a hole off on both sides. I then used Fender washers in place of the original washers supplied and everything was a perfect fit afterwards. I love this product and recommend it to anyone looking to install a skid plate.
