Decent choice

Got the skid plate for my 2013 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T. The fitment was great, the instructions were easy to understand. Relatively easy install, totally doable by a single person. The front rubber stands look a bit flimsy and I still have to put it to some off-road test, but so far so good. I had some issues with the mounting hardware but those were resolved by Asfir folks shipping me another set of hardware at no cost.

During my initial purchase the

During my initial purchase the manufacturer stated that they hadnג€™t seen any of the skid plates installed on 2012 Subaru Foresters with a manual transmission, to date they were only installed on automatics. No modification actions were necessary to the plate or front and rear brackets. I did have to upsize the holes for mounting the center brackets because the centers were half a hole off on both sides. I then used Fender washers in place of the original washers supplied and everything was a perfect fit afterwards. I love this product and recommend it to anyone looking to install a skid plate. Thanks ASFIR!
