SKID PLATES

 Asfir manufactures a large variety of skid plates for off road vehicles, commercial vehicles and passenger cars.

The purpose of the skid plates is to protect the lower components of the vehicle: fuel tank, motor, transfer box and gearbox.

The skid plates are made from 6 mm quality aluminum. They are laser cut and bent on a computerized bending machine.

The skid plates are screwed onto the original holes in the vehicle. They are mounted onto the vehicle via brackets, which are designed to absorb the shocks and vibrations whilst encountering an obstacle on the road. The brackets prevent the shock or vibration to pass from the skid plate to the vehicles chassis or to the mechanical assembly.

Each skid plate is designed with service openings to enable servicing the vehicle without dismantling the plates. The skid plates are designed to enable free air flow to the vehicles cooling system.

The skid plates are equipped with rubber seals to prevent noise and rattling while driving.

The different plates combine one with the other and create a full underbody protection for the vehicle.

ATL WINCH BUMPERS

Asfir offers a variety of possibilities to mount a winch on an off-road vehicle:
1. Front winch bumper – ATL.
2. Tubular winch bumper – Exterior mounting
3. Hidden winch mount - inside the original bumper.

The above mountings were granted the confirmation of both the Ministry of Transport and the Standards Institute of Israel and they meet the quality standard ISO9001.

REAR BUMPERS & TOW BARS

Asfir has a wide variety of rear bumpers and towing devices that mount onto the original anchoring points to the vehicles chassis via brackets,.

The bumpers and towing devices can accept a ball hitch or a combination hitch – depending on the customers’ requirements.

The bumpers are manufactured in the most up-to-date technology and can be found in Chrome, Stainless steel or black powder coating. They are designed to suit most of the 4x4 off road vehicles.

Asfir has developed a unique detachable towing device:
- Quite driving – this new, high quality towing device, has an eccentric shaft, which prevents shocks and rattling during driving. This unique towing device works quietly and precisely.

- Esthetics – a low profile device, designed to fit in with the vehicles original
contour lines.

- Maximum safety – the stress of the weight leans on a niche, which is imbedded in the main shaft, and not only on a pin.

- Assembly and disassembly – simple, safe and user friendly.

SIDE PROTECTORS

Side protectors combined with side steps are manufactured by Asfir and made of quality metal.

The side protectors are attached to the vehicle by enforced brackets anchored to the vehicle's chassis.

The side protectors assist while driving off road in two ways:

1 .They protect the vehicle's sides from any damage or bending.
2. They are a must when using the High Lift jack for recovery.

The combined side protectors with steps are side protectors to which aluminum footholds are attached and thus are used as steps helping to climb into the vehicle.
