ATL WINCH BUMPER  |  From: ASFIR
The bumper is the first part to reach the ground and the last to depart from it.
What is its use, and why should it be replaced with an Asfir made ATL bumper?

The original bumper

The bumper, or as it is referred to by some elders, "the bumper bar", marks 'the beginning' and 'the end' of a vehicle. The bumper is attached to the front and back of the chassis. These bumpers dictate the approach and departure angles; the front bumper is always the first to encounter an obstacle, while the rear bumper is the last to disengage the ground while exiting a hole or a small heap.

Regarding the last segment, when driving off-road, all the more so – on a rough ground, the bumper is bound to encounter stones, rocks, fold land and other calamities, therefore, it has to be resistant to blows in order to fill its original function – protecting the body and the passengers. Regardless to safe driving, the bumpers encounter obstacles, hence the original bumper – which is some cases functions as an ornament, rather than a shield – will quickly wear down. This shall result in damage to the bumper itself, or worse – the bumper will bend tin parts or cause damage to the chassis!

Asfir improved Bumper

In order for the bumper to reinstate its original purpose as a genuine shield, Asfir manufactures substitute bumpers, which are far more strong and durable than the originals, mounted onto the standard vehicle. Asfir ATL bumpers were meant to prevent the 'painful' encounter of the bumper with the ground; they are built higher, improving the vehicle's approach and departure angels, using an advanced design.
All bumpers are made of galvanized steel and designed in a form that stays loyal to the vehicle's original style. ATL bumpers hold many advantages over additional substitute bumpers; they are significantly lighter and guarantee a minimum of extra weight to the cranks (an element preserving the original characteristics of vehicle behavior), built wisely - enabling quick dismantling of the bumper alone (winch excluded) for variable car treatments (other bumpers require full, complicated dismantling). A visible or hidden winch can be mounted into all bumper models. Differing from others, ATL bumpers consist of a special winch mounting which connects directly to the chassis, rather than the bumper itself – a structure that ensures better durability and allows utilization of a light bumper. Along with the winch mounting option, it's also possible to add different devices for variable uses, such as car lights or unique water facilities. A customer interested in mounting a winch without relinquishing his vehicle's original bumper, can rely on Asfir for hidden winches special mounts, located behind the original front bumper.

In the field of rear bumpers, Asfir specializes in manufacturing bumpers for off-road cars in general, and for pick-ups in particular; most rear bumper models may integrate a towing bar – permanent or removable. The removable bar's advantage lies in enhancing the vehicle's departure angle when it is not in use. This option saves critical parking distance in an urban environment and prevents unnecessary impacts to the hook. When driving off-road, every incline matters regarding approach angles, particularly departures regarding the bar, as the ability to remove it vastly improves the vehicle's navigability and keeps the hook safe from any harm.
